Usually the focus of this essay is to warrant or highlight the main point of the story, usually by contending from an opposing view. Historical essays may take several forms, including biographies, a survey of history, and arguments regarding specific events. To be able to write a good historical essay, the writer has to be well researched and educated about the subject matter he/she will be writing about.
